Vestro is a fashion app that helps you manage your wardrobe and make outfit decisions. This policy explains how we handle your information.

What We Collect

Account

Your email address when you sign up.

Photos

When you use FitCheck, you upload outfit photos. We process these images to provide outfit analysis and improve our service. We automatically remove GPS location metadata to protect your privacy. We may retain technical metadata (such as depth information or device type) to improve analysis accuracy.

Location

We use your location to provide weather-based and culturally relevant outfit recommendations. We determine this using:

• Manual Entry: Any city or region you explicitly select or type in the app settings.
• Precise Location (GPS): Only if you grant explicit permission in the app.
• Approximate Location (IP Address): We may infer your general region (e.g., city) from your connection data.

We only access or process location while you are actively using the feature. We never track your location in the background.

Analysis Data

We store outfit analysis results (scores, color palettes, suggestions) linked to your account.

What We Don't Collect

• Contacts, messages, or unrelated personal data
• Background location history

How We Use Your Data

• Analyze your outfits and provide feedback
• Show your fit history
• Send you service updates, security alerts, and optional promotional messages
• Improve our analysis accuracy and develop new features using anonymized data

Your data is stored securely with encryption.

Fit Analysis

To provide accurate fit recommendations, our technology analyzes image geometry to distinguish clothing from the background. This analysis helps us evaluate how garments fit and look on you. This data is deleted when you delete your account.

Your Controls

• Delete individual fits from your history
• Delete your account from Settings in the app

When you delete your account:

• Your photos, outfit analyses, and wardrobe data are permanently deleted
• Your account is deactivated immediately
• We retain a cryptographic hash (a secure, non-readable fingerprint) of your email address for the period necessary to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations

Children

Vestro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
